When people ask me how I started Fresh Start by Alison, I always smile — because in many ways, this journey began long before it became a business.
I’ve always been naturally organized. I’ve moved many times — even from one country to another — and living independently from a young age taught me the value of simplicity, structure, and mindfulness. Through those experiences, I discovered that organization isn’t just about putting things in order — it’s about creating balance in your life.
After long workdays, coming home to a clean, organized space made me feel calm, recharged, and truly at peace. I realized that a tidy, well-organized home doesn’t just look beautiful — it gives you energy. It helps you relax, think clearly, and feel grounded. To me, your home is your sanctuary, your personal lagoon — a place where you restore yourself.
When I moved to the United States, I started practicing home organization in California. Later, when I relocated to Connecticut — a place that immediately felt right — I decided it was time to take the next step: to build a company with purpose.
That’s how Fresh Start by Alison was born — a company built on the belief that an organized home can transform your life.
